1.Who we are
Reelstate is a trading name of Rooted Social Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15145808 ("Reelstate", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@reelstate.co. Any contract you enter into under these terms is with Rooted Social Limited, trading as Reelstate.
2.These terms
These terms apply to every order placed with Reelstate. You accept them by signing an order confirmation, paying a deposit, or instructing us to begin work, whichever happens first. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. If anything in an order confirmation conflicts with these terms, the order confirmation wins for that order.
3.The service
We produce short-form video content for property marketing, built from materials you supply, such as renders, architectural drawings, photography and brand assets. Deliverables are produced using AI generation tools directed and reviewed by our team. Every frame is checked before delivery. You accept that AI-generated content is a creative interpretation of your materials and that minor variations from source imagery can occur. The direction approval stage exists so you see and approve the look before production begins.
4.Orders and packs
Our packs, prices and inclusions are set out on reelstate.co and in your order confirmation. All packs are one-off purchases. There is no subscription, no retainer and no ongoing commitment.
5.Payment
Prices are in US dollars. A 50% deposit is due once you approve the creative direction, and production starts when it clears. The remaining 50% is due on delivery. Files are held until the balance is paid in full. If the balance remains unpaid 72 hours after delivery, access to the files may be suspended until payment is received. Deposits are non-refundable once production has started, except as set out in section 10.
6.Timelines
Delivery is five working days from your approval of the creative direction, not from first enquiry or deposit. Days spent waiting on your feedback, materials or approvals do not count towards the five. If we expect a delay on our side, we will tell you as soon as we know.
7.Your materials
You confirm that you own, or have all necessary rights and permissions to use, every item you send us, including renders, drawings, photography, logos, brand assets and any reference material, and that our use of those items to produce your deliverables will not infringe the rights of any third party. You grant us a licence to use those materials for the purpose of producing your order. You are responsible for the accuracy of any development details, pricing or claims you ask us to include. You will compensate us in full for any claim, loss or cost we suffer arising from materials or information you supplied.
8.Revisions and acceptance
Every pack includes one revision round at the motion stage, after the creative direction has been approved. Changes beyond that round, or changes to the approved direction itself, are a new order. Deliverables are treated as accepted when you confirm approval, or five working days after delivery if you have not requested your revision round, whichever comes first.
9.Ownership
Once the balance is paid in full, you own the final deliverables outright. No watermarks, no licensing fees, no usage restrictions. Until the balance is paid, all deliverables remain our property. We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to. All tools, processes, prompts and know-how used to produce the work remain ours.
10.If you are not happy
If you are not satisfied after your included revision round, we will redo the affected reels or refund what you have paid for them, at our choice. This is your exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with creative output. We would rather redo the work than argue about money.
11.The free reel
Free reels are provided at our discretion, at no cost and without warranty. We may decline or limit free reel requests. These terms apply to free reels, except the payment provisions.
12.Cancellation
You may cancel an order at no charge at any point before approving the creative direction. After production starts, the deposit covers work done and is not refundable, except as set out in section 10.
13.Our liability
Our total liability to you in connection with any order, whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, is limited to the amount you have paid us for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.
14.Your data
We use the contact and company details you give us to deliver the service, invoice you and communicate about your order. We do not sell your data. Materials you upload are stored with reputable third-party providers for the purpose of production and delivery.
15.General
These terms and your order confirmation are the entire agreement between us. Neither party may assign the agreement without the other's consent. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
